The strategy and process adopted is such which is capaciating Gram Sabhas in the Jharkhand to question the Government official and dealers to implement the social security schemes as per the norms declared by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Gram Swaraj Abhiyan also believe in the capacity building of the individuals and CBOs, inculcating leadership quality in the people and formation of people’s Institution to take up the issues of right to food and in long run monitoring of the Social security Scheme by the people’s organization (Gram Sabha) so that in day to day activity, beneficiary of the programme will hammer the system which is denying the benefits to the people. Leadership on the issue should also go in the hand of the villagers so that continuity in the proper implementation will always be in track. Gram Swaraj Abhiyan is also working on the issues, which is supporting for alliance building in the State for strengthening the food rights and transparent-governance movement in the State. Gram Swaraj Abhiyan also believe to make the collaboration with similar Network and workers organization to strengthen the Right to work movement in the State. Gram Swaraj Abhiyan has one secretariat and that is working under the direction of the coordination committee and it is the responsibility of the Secretariat to follow the direction in order to achieve the goal of the movement. Gram Swaraj Abhiyan is playing role to support the Advisor of the commissioner of the Supreme Court under the case no (PUCL Vs. Union of India- 196/2001).

Any institution/organization working and / or believes on the values and norms, depicted above, of Gram Swaraj abhiyan and optimistic towards achieving the objective of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan and, also, are interested to work for the benefit of the vulnerable / deprived sections of the society in the region can be entitled for the membership of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan. Member of the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan can be responsible for establishing the process of natural justice in the community while following the values and norms of the Gram Swaraj abhiyan. Any member, if, found to be are not following the norms and values of Gram Swaraj abhiyan will be discontinued from the membership of Gram Swaraj abhiyan. Any institution / organization can get the membership after depositing the membership fee of Rs.100. Membership will be valid for one year and will continue annually through renewal of the membership by depositing the same amount i.e. Rs. 100.
